Assam tea, indigenous to India's steamy Brahmaputra Valley, is one of the world's oldest varieties. The aptly named Assam Superb has the rich, dark liquor and smooth, round, malty flavour prized by the connoisseur. Full of body and flavour, it is ideal at any time of the day.

This is a robust, malty leaf tea from pure Assam leaves grown in the prized Brahmaputra Valley in Northeast India. The broken leaves make a strong brew with a malty, full-bodied flavour and are much prized at breakfast time. 

First created to mark the christening of HRH Prince George of Cambridge, this very special tea is perfect for happy occasions.

A twist on the traditional bergamot-infused blend, Countess Grey is based on well-twisted orange pekoe teas, lifted by classic bergamot and a light orange flavour.

British Prime Minister Earl Grey gave his name to this hugely popular tea back in the 1830s, and ever since it has been thought of as a classic English afternoon tea. It is not a type of tea, but a flavour, made up of a simple black tea flavoured with aromatic and stimulating oil of bergamot. 

Fragrant elderflower is a worthwhile companion to the best green tea, as the complementary flavours combine to create an especially subtle and distinctive drink.

In this classic Fortnum's blend, low-grown Flowery Pekoe from Ceylon lends an uplifting note to the maltier Assam to make a very traditional cup of tea. First blended for King Edward VII in the summer of 1902, Royal Blend has been popular ever since for its smooth, almost honey-like flavour.
